Questions about Daggers & sabres
Do you buy daggers with rust or missing parts?
Yes. We also appraise pieces with signs of use, rust or missing parts. Please photograph the damage clearly and do not try to fix it yourself.
Should I polish the blade?
Please do not. Polishing removes patina and often etchings, which can reduce the value considerably.
How do I ship a dagger safely?
Only after we agree. Protect the point and edge with firm cardboard, wrap the piece in a cloth and pad the box well. We are happy to advise you beforehand.
