Selling historical militaria
Would you like to sell historical militaria, single collector’s items or a complete collection? Here is how to proceed safely and receive a fair offer.

In shortPhotograph the items unaltered, send us the pictures and get free advice. We review every item professionally and legally before making an offer. Handover by post or in person in Berlin.
The safe way to sell
- Take photos: an overall view and details, in daylight
- Send the photos: via the form, WhatsApp or email
- Receive a free first appraisal, with follow-up questions if needed
- Decide in your own time: you are under no obligation
- Handover by post or in person in Berlin; payment by bank transfer, PayPal or cash
Before you sell
- Do not clean anything: polishing, washing or repainting can reduce the value considerably.
- Do not separate anything: decorations, certificates, photos and documents of one person belong together.
- Note the provenance: who owned the items and where do they come from? Even a few details help.
- Be careful with classifieds: many platforms prohibit such items, and symbols can cause legal problems.
What determines the price
- Originality
- Original or later copy?
- Condition
- Preservation, signs of use, repairs
- Completeness
- Scabbard, case, certificate, accessories
- Rarity
- How often does the item appear on the market?
- Provenance
- Family ownership, documents, link to a person
Legally on the safe side
Items bearing symbols of unconstitutional organisations are subject to § 86 and § 86a of the German Criminal Code. We review every item before purchase and tell you openly what is possible. You do not need to assess anything in advance.
