Questions about Helmets & headgear
Should I clean or repaint the helmet?
No. Original paint, patina and signs of use are important for the appraisal. A repainted helmet loses much of its value.
My helmet has no liner. Is it still of interest?
Yes, we look at helmets without liners too. Photograph the inside anyway; stamps and traces matter.
